Two batches of one medicine are two stock records.
Noman Aslam builds the inventory and the till for a medical store or pharmacy. Each batch keeps its supplier, expiry, and quantity. A sale takes the earlier expiry. Expired or recalled stock is not ordinary stock. You remain the licensed operator. The app does not give medical advice. Hourly work is $35. A fixed fee is a custom quote after the product rules are listed.
Who this is for
You run a chemist, a pharmacy, or a medical store. The current system has one quantity for a medicine name, so nobody can see which box expires first, or a restricted item can be billed with no note.
This is not a clinic system and not a claim of government certification. You tell me the checks the shop already follows. The software enforces them and keeps the record.
What I build
- A product that includes strength, form, and pack, so similar names are not one row
- Receiving that splits one delivery into batches, each with an expiry
- Sales that use the earliest acceptable expiry, and store a reason when someone picks another batch
- Expired, damaged, and recalled quantity kept out of a normal sale
- A required note or attached file on the products you mark, before that line can finish
- A search that finds a batch still on hand and the sales of that batch
I do not decide that one medicine may replace another. The screen can show related products you marked. A person in the shop decides.
What you keep
- Your license, your suppliers, and your dispensing rules
- The batch history and the sales
- The code, in your accounts
How an engagement starts
- You show how a delivery is written down today, and which items cannot be sold without a note.
- I map batches, expiry, and the block on a normal sale.
- We continue at $35 an hour, or I send a fixed quote once those rules are specific.
- Staff receive and sell on it. You can still read which batch left the shop.
I will turn down a request to hide restricted sales, skip expiry, or present the software as a pharmacy license.
Read these before the call
- Batch, expiry, and what must not be sold
- What a shop POS has to do
- All shop and POS work
- Pricing — $35 an hour, or a custom quote
Questions
Are you a pharmacist?
No. I build the stock and the till. You are responsible for what may be sold, and for the records your local rules require.
Can the same medicine have two expiry dates?
Yes. Those are two batches. The till prefers the earlier date unless an authorized person chooses otherwise and the reason is saved.
How do you charge?
Hourly work is $35. A fixed fee is a custom quote after the batches, the notes, and the reports are defined.
Show me one delivery invoice
If it has two batches, that is enough to start the scope. I reply within one business day.
